Lakshmi Krishnamurthy

A research scholar, restorer, artist and guru to many seekers of Indian art, Lakshmi Krishnamurthy aka "Lakki" has devoted her life to exploring, researching and reviving pan-Indian art forms.

The former head of the Visual Arts department at Kalakshetra and an esteemed national Tagore research fellow, Lakki has received numerous accolades for her work including notably, the Kalaichemmal Award awarded by the Tamil Nadu government for her exceptional achievement in the arts.

Lakki is frequently invited to deliver research talks related to her tryst with the fine arts, including most recently at the Pink Fest held in Jaipur earlier this year.
