Rasleela is a celebration of India’s rich artistic heritage - starting with Phad-influenced Radha and Krishna, the leela dances through Ajanthan classicism to Lepakshi influence to the colourful Miniature school and to the vibrant Punjabi dance form. At its heart, the artist's vision takes flight with Radha and Krishna dancing in joyful abandon. 

About the Artist
Former Head of Visual Arts at Kalakshetra and a distinguished national Tagore fellow, Lakshmi Krishnamurthy has devoted the past 45 years of her life to the exploration, research and creative interpretation of myriad pan-Indian artforms which culminate in a stunning visual thesis on her canvas.
